Filled up El Trucko yesterday, 376 miles of mostly suburban driving with
some freeway driving...21 mpg. About what I expected, but I think I may see closer to 25 mpg on the highway with my light foot on the accelerator. That would be...super. |

Same sort of driving .... mostly around town with some limited highway. Averaging between 31 and 32 mpg. For someone who was used to 11 to 12 mpg (in the F-250) this is miraculous. Something I have to disagree with Greg about. Like him, I have always used the outside mirrors (and inside rear view mirror when not towing something) for backing. The backup camera in the Altima has two views ... one a fixed, long range view and the other an interactive view that outlines where you are backing that moves as you turn the steering wheel. The camera provides a view that simply can't be obtained using mirrors only or by turning your head around to watch where you are backing. I am getting used to using it and like it. There's a reason that backup cameras have become mandated in new vehicles and I can understand why. |

You can park in tighter spaces without banging a vehicle behind you. |
