I worked for a authorized Bose repair shop 84' to 94'.
When the rep was in our shop, he set it up so I got a reduced price
on a set of 901's.
I have them hanging from the ceiling in my living room. Made it
through 4 or 5 moves and still working fine after 30 years.
Bose still has the reputation that, some people love them and others
think they are junk.
I found a Bose Cinemate II at a yard sale for $10. The seller said
they don't work, I offered them $5. I contacted Bose and went through
possible problems, they sent me a special cable, that didn't fix it.
I had to ship it to them, they covered the repair under warranty.
That was 4 years ago, they are still selling for $300 to $400.
