This is one massive storm crawling north off the east coast. This
morning the center of circulation appears to be somewhere off the
Maryland or Delaware coast yet there are bands of snow associated with
it that are starting to affect the southern part of Nova Scotia.

I was wrong. The center is even more south than Maryland. It just
started snowing here and the main storm center is still almost 600 miles
away. That's a huge circulation.

Believe they said our blizzard should reach us by afternoon with from 30 to 40 cm of snow expected. Already numerous school cancellations.

Hope all goes well. Don't hurt yourself shovelling snow!

Snow just starting.
Got the dog out for his walk at the park this morning. The Highlander dash said it was minus 4C. But the high north east winds felt raw.

That's nice. My wife is usually the first out the door. But, she wasn't born and raised in
Minnesota.
