Rubio brought up spending additional billions and billions of dollars "rebuilding the Navy" and on additional troops, a waste of money we don't have. He reminds me of a petulant little boy. And Cruz demonstrated why so many just plain despise him. The debate was better for Trump not being there, I think. At least the part of it I watched. Maybe if the half of the country paying no taxes would get a job and pay some, we would have the money to counter threats. Wonder why China is spending so much on armament? -- Ban idiots, not guns! What percentage of what we spend on the military is China spending? Oh, and the threats we have to counter these days aren't really "counterable" by oversized military forces. They're beaten by human intel, which we sorely lack. Well shoot, let me just give ol' Xi Jinping a quick call on Skype and ask him how much China spends! -- Ban idiots, not guns! |

We also supply a lot of the arms for the rest of the world out of that budget and we pay our contractors union wages. (plus the waste and fraud) China still has coolies building their stuff and when the chinese catch a person scamming the government, they get shot. The family gets billed for the bullet. |

I recorded it and went through with my finger on the forward button. Rubio is still a little to "frantic" for me, Cruz is smart but nuts, Jeb is like watching beige paint drying, Rand Paul makes sense about privacy and the debt but without the favors that come with massive government spending, he doesn't have a chance. I think he is wrong about choice. Kasich is polished but dull. I think Cristie looked like the best politician, even if I disagree with some of the things he said. I agree, it was better without Trump turning it into a carny show. I also watched a little of the JV debate. There is a reason why that bunch is not in the real show. |
