Yep...no 'merican made travel trailer for me this year.


What is the GVWR you can pull with that Highlander. I know they don't have the V-8
any more. There are some pretty decent travel trailers made in Canada.

Actually the Loonie is holding better than I thought. Was $0.72 in July
when we were in BC.

I've noticed that most automotive sales propaganda exaggerates towing capacities. Yeah it might advertise 5000 lb, but just because they say a vehicle can, doesn't mean you should/ or it's smart to do so.

Here's a lot of trailer for less than 3000lbs. Of course, by the time the wife gets
done loading it up it'll be closer to 4000!

I have been impressed with the campers and trailers I have seen that are
Canadian made. All seem be solid and set up for cold weather.

My SUV is some odd number like 7435 lbs. Probably a metric conversion.
