Wouldn't that be an oxymoron?

apparently Cruz is ahead of Trump among the Iowa evangelicals.

Oh, wait...the Republican conservative movement will be saved by...Jeb Bush!

I heard Ed Rollins saying if they end up in a brokered convention
(possible if not likely), they might dust off Romney again.

Thought he had a gig at a wax museum.

If you've never seen this, and you have any appreciation for the meaning of

Full screen, volume up, sit back and enjoy. Great to watch with family. Better
resolution on the DVD.

Hell, the DVD's only ten bucks now.

I find it humorous that you are posting about "the meaning of Christmas."
Good for you!

Ask your priest whether god prefers kind atheists and agnostics over
hate-filled christians.
What priest?

To my knowledge, God has no preferences.

Do you classify anyone who doesn't agree with you and your opinions a 'hate-filled
Christian'?

Trust me, no one here would waste such an emotion on you. Disgust, maybe. Hate, no.

Priest, pastor, minister, imam, rabbi, whatever...

Oh, and I think there are posters here who are hate-filled christians.

Again, you're not worth it.

If they do he'll be just as much of a stiff the second time.

I agree but at least he is not nuts.
Ed was making the point that the old establishment still wants to have
a voice and the other people on the panel were saying the
establishment is exactly what the Trump and Sanders people are
rebelling against.
I do think that if this doesn't get some kind of sense pretty soon the
GOP may go the way of the Whigs. They lost me over 2 decades ago and I
think more people are poised to jump. The only question is "where"?
They are not going to become democrats.

I also keep reminding myself, this is still silly season where we have
contemplated Herman Cain, Buchanan, Gingrich and any number of other
folks who were gone by Easter. The democrats have a rich history of
obscure whackos a year out too. Nobody has cast a single vote yet and
talking heads are already making predictions..

I have a prediction. Your suicide numbers will sky-rocket no matter the
outcome. Many believe a win for the opposing political party will be the
end of the world. O'Bama is a perfect example of the damage caused by
wrong choices at the polls. No matter who wins in 16, we should see some
relief from the destructive path we are on now.
