Jeb Bush plummets in latest national poll


Jeb Bush's support among Republicans nationally has plummeted to the low
single digits in the latest Quinnipiac University survey released
Wednesday, as the former Florida governor's campaign seeks to hit
refresh with its "Jeb Can Fix It" tour.

Donald Trump and Ben Carson, meanwhile, continued to lead the field,
with Carson outperforming Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical
general-election matchup.

In the latest poll, conducted after last week's third GOP debate in
which Bush delivered a mediocre performance, *just 4 percent* of
Republican and independent Republican-leaning voters said they would
support Bush in their state's primary. In the September survey, Bush
earned 10 percent, trailing Trump, Carson and Carly Fiorina.

Jeb's biggest handicap (IMO) is that he's too much like his old man.
He's fundamentally a gentleman who is uncomfortable slinging mud like
Trump and some others. It will be interesting what the political
climate is like when the entertainment being provided by Trump and
Carson comes to a close as people start getting serious as to who they
would really be comfortable with as their nominee. I don't know who it
will be, but my guess right now is either Rubio or Jeb. Rubio is smart
and a quick study but he has to move away from the Tea Party influences.
Jeb just needs to be Jeb and focus on issues. He shouldn't be advised
or tempted to fight fire with fire with Trump.

While watching tv at the gym, see Hillary is now considered dishonest by
61%. That is a huge drawdown for getting elected!

wins. The rich, of course, will become even richer under a GOP POTUS as
their ability to loot the country increases, but that will end when

I think Mrs. Clinton will try to upset the current applecart, and take
steps to slow down the looting of America by the wealthy. It'll take a
Democratic House and Senate to speed up the process and make it more
drastic.

The question is *when* the tables will be turned, not *if*

You are delusional if you don't think the Clintons are the best
friends big business has. It was Billy boy who tore out all of the
bank regulation and set the stage for the 2009 collapse. He also
pushed through the trade deals that made Walmart (Hillary's alma
matter) the China outlet mall. She is also a neocon who never saw a
mid east war she didn't like.

I would not pay much attention to what she is saying now because lying
comes natural to her and she is very good at it.
