That is what scares me.

It'll be fun to see who chokes on that. :)

It will be the soldiers choking on their own blood in the wars she
gets us into. I don't think that is "fun".

I don't see Hillary sending us into a new war or a "revitalized" war in
Iraq or Afghanistan.

Maybe not. Trump is a good talker, and fairly quick minded. He may bring
up some very embarrassing items. And her slickness may not play well.

Trump will need to take a cram course on what was going on in North
Africa and how we got to Benghazi in the first place.
There is an opportunity there but I am not sure Trump is the guy who
can exploit it.
If Hillary is going to run on her SoS record, the GOP will need people
who can actually understand the politics.
Someone like Gingrich could make her look silly but I doubt Trump can.
Harry is right that the GOP is not fielding the varsity team. These
are not even the water boys.

I think it's time for those of the Republican persuasion to face the
music and accept the fact that thanks to the Tea Party and it's
influence the GOP has fielded the most pathetic group of potential
nominees in many years.

The pendulum needs to start swinging back the other way for the GOP to
survive.

My concern goes even deeper than that. When the best the whole country
can seem to come up with is another Bush and another Clinton
(distinctions without difference) we are in deep trouble.
If the GOP really wants to go with Carson or Trump, game over.
Considering they went with McCain and Romney, nothing surprises me
anymore.

This is not normal.

They don't call em slick Willy and slick Hilly for nothing. So
sad
that
you are impressed with them.

My respect for Hillary rose somewhat because of how she handled
a bunch of low life, tea party, ultra right wing idiots who have
spent
over $21 million tax payer dollars for political gain purposes.
If it's not illegal, it sure should be. How many times do you
ask
the

Plus, it was obvious that the 11 hour grilling was nothing short
of an
attempt to wear her down and get her either blow up or say
something
that would aid their goal of keeping her poll numbers down and
hopefully
keep her from getting elected. This hearing had nothing to do
with
Benghazi and everything to do with politics.

Hillary's testimony yesterday had nothing to do with
"slickness." It
had
everything to do with knowledge, preparation, temperment, and the
indisputable fact that her adversaries on the committee, and they
were
adversaries, were for the most part total goofuses whose political
motivations were apparent to all but the dumbest observer.

It's rare when you and I agree especially when it comes to Hillary
but I
think hell just froze over.

Well, she id fighting for her political life. She can't just say
"what
difference does it make" and expect to get away with it.

I am not converting to a supporter of Hillary but credit is due when
credit is due. She handled a bunch of hungry political jackals with
patience and professionalism. That's what I was impressed with. I am
sure much of it comes from her lawyer training and background but it's
also a demonstration of the temperament required to be POTUS.

The slick lawyer in her surfaces.

Can't argue with any of that, even if it does make Krause cream his knickers.

I doubt you can put an 11 hour side show in the same category as
beheading 20 people at a time but hyperbole is the language of the
left.

Oh, well, we already have Christian religious fundamentalists in this
country, including some politicians, who express their hatred for those
who believe differently in terms that are beginning to sound like the
Islamists. As just one example, read through some of the crap Mike
Huckabee has said in the past couple of years, and, of course, we have
have incidents of Christian religious fundamentalists taking violent
actions against those who believe differently. It's just a matter of
time here.

I think the GOPers, in a way, provided Mrs. Clinton with the
opportunity of the first real presidential debate. She is formidable in
an adversarial venue in ways that her GOPer competitors are not.
