Delicious today...

....watch the Pope gently excoriate mostly the right-wingers for their
"hatreds" and "denials" and "greed" and love of the death penalty and
arms sales.

Here's a hint, guys...if you want to cut back on the number of
abortions, step up and provide more real sex education to youngsters,
make birth control more available, or...hire Bristol Palin to preach
abstinence.

Rubbers getting hard to come by in your neck of the woods, Krause? About 80% of the
black women in DC giving birth are unwed. You think they just don't know about birth
control? Maybe, like a voter ID, getting rubbers or any other form of birth control
is just far too onerous?

F'ing lying dummy.

I doubt the pope is going to support birth control either.

For the same reason he is anti gay marriage. That must frost Krause's balls.

That's impressive for an organization that you claim is based on
superstition. What impresses me most about the Catholic church is
belief in the infallibility of the pope, and the fact that he's
allowed to change his mind. That's almost miraculous! :-)

Harry has his own faith based organization and they are the only ones
allowed to minister to his poor. The organization is called the

His organization requires (OPM) to minister to *their* poor. Be sure not

For which you have berated it...saying it is only trying to recruit members.

It is funny watching Harry flip flop around.

There's no flip-flopping here. I'm not a narrow-minded rightie like you
and your boys. I admire the Catholic church for the good it does, but I
am not a fan of what it has done to push its religious beliefs into our
governments and to decimate indigenous populations. The world is not
binary, dispute what the simpletons here believe.

The only think you agree with is a few ambiguous comments about income
and climate. I don't hear the pope actually coming up with any
solutions
On the other hand you disagree with every other thing the man believes
or what the church stands for. My Al Capone comment was right on. He
fed the poor and tried to make some neighborhoods safer too.

I'm not aware of "every other thing the man believes or what the church
stands for, so your comment is as ridiculous as most of your other
generalities about me. Hell, I doubt if I am familiar with more than one
percent of what the pope believes or what the church stands for. I am
aware of some positions, that's all. I like some, I dislike others.

You really should consider moving on from the mental disease of
"binary-ness."

I'm not a simple minded right winger. There is much I like about Pope
Francis. I also admire the Catholic Churches support of the poor and the
handicapped. Certainly I have issues with some of the positions of the
church, but I don't see the world as black or white. That the pope opposes
abortion and capital punishment differentiates him from the mindless
righties.

That has him 50:50 with you and wrong on both counts with me.
You ignored gays, women's rights and birth control.
I don't really even see that much they do for the poor. What is the
catholic church worth? Half a trillion? Al Capone did as much with a
lot less revenue. It is ironic that the pope is cranking on about big
business when they ARE big business.

You're just demonstrating your ignorance of the work the Catholic church
does with the poor, the handicapped, et cetera, around the world.

normal accusation.

You've spent hours berating the beliefs of Christians. The Pope is a Christian, but
you are familiar with almost nothing of his beliefs.

You are just the typical socialist. You don't care that much about
rights if they give away enough free stuff

And once again, you've gone over the deep end. I know actual socialists,
the real deal, and they have assured me my political beliefs are quite
modest, compared to theirs. I do care about "rights," however, which is
why the politicized super-religious give me the willies. Or is that
willys? :)

What "context was so hard to figure out. It was a direct response to
what you wrote

Perhaps the image of Tim engaging in badinage with "free thinkers" threw
me off.

I really don't "get" his unwillingness to at least quote a few lines to
put his responses in perspective. If he is still using his iPhone,
there's a freebie software package that'll do that for him.

Yes you do get it. Tim, like Donnie uses google groups. Both of them
seem to have quoting issues. Neither of them seem to care. live with it.
