That's impressive for an organization that you claim is based on
superstition. What impresses me most about the Catholic church is
belief in the infallibility of the pope, and the fact that he's
allowed to change his mind. That's almost miraculous! :-)

I agree with you Wayne. And yes, superstitious nut cases feeding the pooooor.

Harry has his own faith based organization and they are the only ones
allowed to minister to his poor. The organization is called the
Democratic party and you can only be assisted if you vote for it early
and often.

His organization requires (OPM) to minister to *their* poor. Be sure not
to confuse their poor with the poor.

Here's a hint, guys...if you want to cut back on the number of
abortions, step up and provide more real sex education to youngsters,
make birth control more available, or...hire Bristol Palin to preach
abstinence.

I doubt the pope is going to support birth control either.

Which is the primary reason I no longer support or attend the Catholic Church.
(Although I'd confess to sending a few bucks to my high school every now and then!)

Harry likes to cherry pick an issue or two and ignore the big picture
of what the pope does not support, like gay marriage, women in the
priesthood, abortion, birth control etc.
He is much more like Ted Cruz than Hillary or Bernie.

I'm not a simple minded right winger.

....just simple minded.

I'm not a simple minded right winger. There is much I like about Pope
Francis. I also admire the Catholic Churches support of the poor and the
handicapped. Certainly I have issues with some of the positions of the
church, but I don't see the world as black or white. That the pope opposes
abortion and capital punishment differentiates him from the mindless
righties.

That has him 50:50 with you and wrong on both counts with me.
You ignored gays, women's rights and birth control.
I don't really even see that much they do for the poor. What is the
catholic church worth? Half a trillion? Al Capone did as much with a
lot less revenue. It is ironic that the pope is cranking on about big
business when they ARE big business.

For which you have berated it...saying it is only trying to recruit members.

You're a f'ing liar, Krause, and a hypocrite to boost.

There's no flip-flopping here. I'm not a narrow-minded rightie like you
and your boys. I admire the Catholic church for the good it does, but I
am not a fan of what it has done to push its religious beliefs into our
governments and to decimate indigenous populations. The world is not
binary, dispute what the simpletons here believe.

The only think you agree with is a few ambiguous comments about income
and climate. I don't hear the pope actually coming up with any
solutions
On the other hand you disagree with every other thing the man believes
or what the church stands for. My Al Capone comment was right on. He
fed the poor and tried to make some neighborhoods safer too.

I'm not aware of "every other thing the man believes or what the church
stands for, so your comment is as ridiculous as most of your other
generalities about me. Hell, I doubt if I am familiar with more than one
percent of what the pope believes or what the church stands for. I am
aware of some positions, that's all. I like some, I dislike others.

You really should consider moving on from the mental disease of
"binary-ness."
