We should not prosecute shoplifters at Walmart.""

Everett Mitchell: "I just don’t think they should be prosecuting cases
for people who steal from Wal-Mart. I don’t think that. I don’t think
that Target, and all them other places – the big boxes that have
insurance...

I doubt they have insurance for theft.
They lose $3 Billion a year to theft. (Walmart)
That would be a hefty insurance premium!

This guy thinks theft from Walmart should not be prosecuted.

He has insurance on his home, but he didn't give out the address.

Gosh, no wonder the economy of Communist China is collapsing...it's
because of theft losses at its biggest 'Merican customer!

I can see you are financially challenged. That $3 billion has to both be
paid for by the rest of the customers and probably extra purchase from
China to replace part of the product.

China's problems are similar to ours. They are drowning in debt and
their productivity is not increasing fast enough to overcome it.
They are also suffering from cheap foreign labor. The Vietnamese and
others are now where people go for lower labor cost. Their efforts to
raise wages has priced them out of the market..

That would help the China economy. That shows your great understanding
of economics!
Are you endorsing the idea of not prosecuting shoplifters?

As usual, you won't commit to an answer.
You'll note I wasn't the only one commenting on your lack of economic logic.

My post was intended as humorous irony. Apparently you and at least one
other poster took it seriously. It's not my job to help you attain your
goal as newsgroup dimwit, because that would be unfair to Ingerfool,
Herring the Racist, and Bilious.

Oh, China's economy...two of the reasons for its problems...massive
overcapacity and slowing demand within the country and worldwide for
what it is producing.

I'm not really concerned about Walmart's problems operating its sleazy
stores. Perhaps if they hired better and smarter people, paid them more,
and had more of them on duty, they could get their "shrinkage" under
control. I do of course care when decent businesses have such problems,
and think shoplifters ought to be prosecuted.

Better and smarter? And you call me racist?

What a hypocrite, Krause.

I would not expect a democrat to think debt was an issue at all.
