Default US Marines foil terrorist on train

Early media reports indicate that two or three unarmed US Marines
overpowered a terrorist who opened fire on a high-speed train between
Amsterdam and Paris. Details are sketchy so far and the Pentagon has
not confirmed as of yet.

If true, "Well Done" to the Marines!

My wife and I went to a movie yesterday. One of maybe two a year. They checked her purse on the way in.

In line to get some popcorn, the lady next to us said "Did they check your stuff too?". They had a backpack! And were indignant that they were checked. My wife simply replied that yes, they had, and she was glad they did. They were not happy.

Noticed that they had also parked in a handicapped spot in the parking lot, and were both able-bodied.

Evidently felt that they were special and entitled. I'm not surprised.

Did the guy look to be 20 years older than the woman?

No,they were both middle-aged. Driving a nice car, but both definitely not in need of a handicapped space. Just your typical, "I'm entitled", democrat voter.

I saw an updated story about this saying that a Brit had also helped. The lone Frenchman mentioned in the article had injured himself pulling the train's alarm. Heh-heh.
