Anchor is out
The term "anchor babies" is apparently a no-no according to the liberal left. It's been called out as being not politically correct, demeaning and even racist. Let's see. "babies" is certainly not offensive to anyone, so the problem must be the word "anchor". This despite the definition of "anchor" as it applies to people: noun a person or thing that provides stability or confidence in an otherwise uncertain situation. Looks like we'll have to retire "anchor" in any discussion about boats. After all, it's not politically correct. May I suggest, "submerged fastener"? |

Wow...you really are working overtime to justify your support of the Republican Party. |
