No, Tim, I am not. Well Harry, it sure seems you like to bundle them all together for your own ridicule. Once again, Tim, I don't give a damn what christians do in their houses of worship or in their own homes, assuming they are not allowing Duggar-like child molestation to take place. It's when christians push their religious or superstitious or hate-filled beliefs onto others, out in the commonweal, so to speak, that I take offense and push back. And these christians, especially in the backwards states, do push those beliefs...hardly a day goes by without being able to read or see some sort of religiously based evangelical outrage being shoved at the general public at the local, state, or even federal levels. And I am not writing about sensible, societal beneficial beliefs, such as "Thou shall not kill," and suchlike. And, once again, I don't object to religious people espousing their beliefs from the pulpit or even on a soapbox...if a Catholic priest wants to publicly state that "birth control is wrong," well, that's his right. But, to try to push that belief into the public's law, well, that's shoveling religion at the public, and I think that is wrong, and should not be allowed, not under our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Yes, I do enjoying pointing out the small-minded foibles of "the religious," as it relates to their pushing their "anti" beliefs onto everyone. Yet it's OK for thugs like you to go into peoples homes and push your threatening, intimidating, violent gospel upon prospective membership and their families. So hypocritical and bigoted of you. -- Respectfully submitted by Justan Laugh of the day from Krause "I'm not to blame anymore for the atmosphere in here. I've been "born again" as a nice guy." |
