I ran the Krausers on my r100gspd then switched over to the toploader 40 liter Caribou luggage. They use the pelican boxes with a quick disconnect system
Heading back up to AK in June with a stop in Dawson city Yukon for the Dust to Dawson (D2D) solstice party. That should put my BMW at over 200.000 miles

Its taken me two Guzzis to get to the 200,000 mile marker. I got my first Guzzi when
my brother went into the Navy. Bought it from him. I've never had a Beemer, but I've
often thought of it!

But then I'd have to get a new wardrobe!

That Caribou luggage looks pretty good on a Guzzi too.

My ambassador had the Wixom luggage boxes which are rounded on the outside and deep. They're even contoured on the inside to wrap around the back shocks. Lots of room but the bad part is, they're too long in the front and make the passenger foot pegs ny-on to useless.

I've done some looking for a golf bag for the motorcycle, but haven't found anything
I like. I'll just sling the bag over my shoulder.

The old Wixom panniers are a beauty to behold, I have a set on my old r50.
Certainly to this day a long sought after luggage system.

Yes, but mine are the toploaders Roger at Caribou luggage does a bang up job, they are a bit heavier than the Krauser system.

My BMW has been a faithful companion thruout the years, but not without problems, I burned the valves out after crossing the Andes into Argintina, Lost a driveshaft, broken subframe, and torched multipe rotors, (stators)all to be expected though.

I will not buy another new BMW as the problems seem endless, but am in the market.
On the top of my list is the Yamaha Super Tenere
