Justan Olphart - show quoted text - "It looks like an island. Is there an umbilical cord or something tying it to the mainland?" Floriduh and Nova Scotia are both almost surrounded by the sea. The difference is our coastline is much more diverse and interesting. The spelling is 'Florida'. Perhaps your spell checker is broke again? |

FlaJim was in the "dumb boys" division in high school, and the only geography he had was with a wood puzzle map of the United States. Then he went into the Navy, where the thinking was done by others. It's not FlaJim who can't spell 'Florida'. Perhaps someone else had problems with geography? |

No comment on the endless word feud between Harry and FlaJim but I think Harry might like to know: The rating that FlaJim held in the Navy (rating is the specific type of job performed as opposed to rank which signifies seniority and paygrade) was one of the demanding it terms of Navy schools and training. Certain elements of math is as advanced or more advanced than what you will typically find in a four year degree program ... even technical. Critical thinking skills is a prerequisite for his rating. You are tested before being selected for the schools. So, you may not like what he has to say but he's no dummy. |

These days, he appears to be only one rung up the ladder of intelligence from Slammer. |
