Default "Neutral safety switch" location

We have a FourWinns 180 LS that will not turnover to start. We are
convinced that the problem is in "neutral safety switch". However, we
don't know where this switch is located. We are hoping someone on this
newsgroup can tell us where we should look to find this switch. Thanks

for
any help in the location of this switch.

Might help if you told us what motor you have.

For example, on a Mercruiser 181 3L, it's on top of the engine next to the
carburator. On some other motors it's in the throttle arm itself.

look for 2 wires going/connecting into the transmission, bingo (test)
connect 2 wires together alone. (testing only)
