I looked into refinishing the stock on the Mosin Nagant, but then decided to leave it
original. Now that I have two of them, I may do some work on the first one. It's the
one that came with the cosmoline everywhere.

The Mosin Nagant is a fun rifle to shoot. I like shooting my SKS too.

Not yet. I talked to a guy who has one and the recoil is tame. It has
the same gas system as any other AK47.

No cosmoline on this. It's very dry wood.

I think the Mosin Nagant is a blast to shoot. The sniper version is much more 'user
friendly' (to me anyway) than the regular 91/30.

I just wish I had an out door range for shooting it!
