I have one of those! The wood is raw and needs some varnish or oil.

Have you shot it? Looks like it'd be hard to shoot.

I looked into refinishing the stock on the Mosin Nagant, but then decided to leave it
original. Now that I have two of them, I may do some work on the first one. It's the
one that came with the cosmoline everywhere.
