Been doing any lake sailing lately? LOL! What's the use
of having a sailboat that sits in storage 9 months
out of the year?

Then, when it's swept clean of its mothballs, it's
only used in pretend sailing, aka around the buoys
parading euphemistically called *racing*.

What a sad thing a vessel resigned to this fate is.
Even sadder is the skipper who so denigrates his
vessel. No pride - none at all!

Well, half the characters in here don't even own a boat, so your sailboat captain is a giant step above them.

Besides Luddite, Harry, and, temporarily, myself, who that you know of doesn't own a
boat?

You are so stupid.
