We've had about 18 inches of snow this year and thats pittance compared to yours. Right now I'd take a once a month 18 inches any day. 18" has become a "nuisance" snowfall relatively, LOL. The general Boston area has had over 98 inches so far with most of it being on the south shore were we are. The all time record is just over 107 inches. But, again, all but 5.5 inches have been in this month. It's ridiculous. The piles of snow at intersections are so high you can't see what traffic is on the road. People are flashing lights and sounding the horn as they slowly pull out onto a road. We're getting a bit of snow again, not a lot. This season, the county purchased some really huge dump trucks on which to mount plows and load road chemicals. I've never seen larger materials/dump trucks except on mining sites. I've got three more inches so far. -- Guns don't cause problems. The behavior of certain gun owners causes problems. |
