The KKK has largely become a northern gang of bigots.
Republicans are found everywhere.
The KKK was started by democrats and I am sure there are plenty in
those areas where democrats are still racist, like most big cities up
north.
You assume all democrats are erudite liberals but there are still
plenty of hard hat union guys who hate the black guy that bought the
house across the street. When you talk about the klan, you are really
talking about a tiny number of people who get far more attention than
they should, mostly from people like you who spread the message for
them.
If I was a black person, I would fear the thug on the street a lot
more than a few old white guys prancing around in hoods and printing
up racist tracts in their basement out in suburbia. Statistics clearly
point that out.
Why thank you for sharing that bit of history about the Klan you read
somewhere. I suspect very few of today's Klan-sters and members of the
other right-wing hate groups vote for the Democratic candidates for POTUS.
