Damn UPS wanted $85 to ship a gun to Texas for me. I sold it locally.

I've been told that FedEx will ship guns at a half way reasonable
rate.

This is where UPS got me:

"Handguns, as defined by 18 U.S.C. § 921, will be accepted for transportation only
via UPS Next Day Air Services, specifically, UPS Next Day Air® Early A.M.®, UPS Next
Day Air®, and UPS Next Day Air Saver®"

That 'next day air' **** is what gets expensive.

I looked at the Fedex site but could find no such requirement. Next time I'll know
better.

Guns don't cause problems. The behavior
of certain gun owners causes problems.
