I do think the combo of guns and jesus is absurd humor, but it wouldn't
keep me from patronizing the joint if the food were any good.

More absurd than swords, lighter fluid and Mohammed?

Guns don't cause problems. The behavior
of certain gun owners causes problems.

I'll be the first to admit I know little about the teachings of
Mohammed, although I did force myself some years ago to plow through a
reading of the Koran.

I am very familiar with the teachings attributed to Jesus, and therefore
I find the proclamation of being a heavily armed Christian an oxymoron
of the first magnitude, *especially* if you take into account the Sermon
on the Mount.

I don't know this for a fact, but my guess is that over the centuries
since the founding of Christianity and Islam, more people have been
slaughtered by Christians in the name of Christianity than by Muslims in
the name of Islam. Both religions are drenched in the blood of the
humanity which has died in their names.

Bad guess. Better go back and see what prompted the Crusades.

Power and land lust, of course, promulgated by the Catholic Church.
