Default Adding insult to injury

Snowing again today. Not a biggie by any means but has added another 4
inches on top of Tuesday's storm of 28 inches.

Of more importance, winter advisories have been posted for another storm
for Sunday night and Monday that will add another 12 inches. Then,
next Friday the possibility of yet another snowstorm.

Snow is not unusual in the northeast but our area is usually
spared from big snow accumulations due to being on the coastline.
The warmer water temperatures usually raises the temperature enough that
at least part of the storm period is rain. Not happening so far this
year. The storms have been all snow, even with strong northeast winds.

I have to do some more reading about global warming.

Hey...this is a great opportunity to advertise that you are going into
the "Unassembled Snowman" business...tell everyone to bring a shovel and
buckets.

We've received pretty well all your storms but with about half the snowfall and the freezing and regular rain you are missing.
I guess you just have to move your coastline a couple hundred miles east of where you are. ;-)

"Part of the confusion comes down to our understanding of weather and
climate. People question the scientific reality of global warming
because they don't know the difference between the two."

"Using weather (i.e. a few very cold days) as evidence against global
warming (i.e a decade of hotter summers) is kind of like using one
man's early death to disprove the fact that, on average, life
expectancies are increasing."

Twenty years from now you will be more disppointed
by the things that you didn't do than by the ones
you did do.

So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
