Nice back pedal.

You stated, and I quote: "Driving around here with loaded mags will
get you in a heap of trouble if you are stopped by the boys in blue
for any reason."

That appears to be incorrect would you not agree?

I-95 and South Carolina scares you? That's just silly! As long as you don't act like a yankee asshat, you'll be fine.

I, however, would want to carry in and around Baltimore and certain other areas of MD.

I didn't find South Carolina scary at all. In fact, the people were
super friendly. I told my wife I needed to hang a sign around my neck
that said, "I am fine, thank you". Everyone I walked by had a
friendly greeting and asked how I was.

Any state in which grits are an automatic side for everything has got to be a great
state.

I discovered that I really like biscuits and gravy the way it is
typically prepared down there. Never had it before. The hotel
I stayed at included it in the breakfast offerings every morning.
I've looked for anything similar up here in MA but haven't found it.

Fond memories of my Mom's homemade biscuits and gravy on Sunday mornings. Really tender biscuits, and great peppery gravy. Some good sausage gravy to be had around here too.

First time I had it right was with "your girlfriends best friend" (his
cb nandle) heading down 65 to Huntsville.... He said, "it aint right if
you don't have it served with a big ole slice of onion under the
biscuit". I don't even like onions, but with the biscuit and gravy on
top, he was right.... Only time I will eat raw onion...
