I've been told my habit of personally insulting other posters contributed to the sour atmosphere in here. So, I stopped, about a month ago. The sour atmosphere continues. The right-wingers in here seem unable to control themselves and stop personally insulting other posters. I'm not to blame anymore for the atmosphere in here. I've been "born again" as a nice guy. I'll post on whatever subjects interest me, thank you very much. I find the non-personal posts of some others here inflammatory but I don't think it is my place to tell them to stop. There's no moderator here. I have no interest in your proffer of help. All you need to do if you want a better atmosphere in here is to stop the personal insults. I don't really give a rat's ass about the atmosphere in here, since I think rec.boats is heading towards the oblivion of rec.boats.cruising, but you and several of your buds complain about the rancor from time to time.
