Well, if your problem with striker-fired pistols is at least partly
because of the trigger, I agree. The ones I've fired, even the Glock I
owned, had too long a pull for my taste, considerable "slack," and an
annoyingly long reset. I really prefer SA pistols with hammers, like the
SIG and CZ I had.

That being said, I really liked the striker-fired Walther I tried out
this morning. The initial pull wasn't too long, it felt smooth and it
engaged smartly, the reset was very short, and the subsequent trigger
pulls were very short and crisp. I fired six 15-round mags through it of
standard quality 115 and 124 grain ball ammo. Recoil through the 5"
barrel was negligible, and muzzle flip to me seemed about the same as a
Glock, more than on the all-steel CZ I had, but not bad. The sights were
nothing special.

Pricey for a polymer pistol.

The Bond character used several different guns in the novels (and
movies) but the most famous was the Walther PPK. He never used a PPQ M2
(as far as I know).

I have the PPK/2. Basically holds one more round than the original PPK.
It's my favorite (and most accurate) handgun of the few that I own.

The Walther PPK is also reportedly to be the handgun that Hitler
committed suicide with by shooting himself in the temple while chomping
down on a cyanide capsule at the same time.
