Too long a pull and too 'scratchy' as though something was rubbing on sandpaper. I much prefer the Sig, or, better yet, the Kimber. I sure wish Kimber made this in a 9mm. http://www.kimberamerica.com/micro They make a small 9mm, probably as small as it can be to handle the bigger 9MM. My neighbor has one. It looks like a .380. Yeah, that's the 'Solo', but the reviews I've read haven't been too favorable. Besides, Kimber wants you to shoot only the high priced stuff in it: • Federal® Hydra-Shok® JHP • Remington® Golden Saber™ HPJ • Hornady TAP® JHP http://www.kimberamerica.com/solo I think they are just pointing out that the action is tuned for +p ammo. I am sure it will function fine with the bulk 9mm you see advertised. A lot of people think 9mm is a marginal self defense round anyway, particularly in ball, so if that is what you are going for, using high performance ammo is your best bet. Maybe, but it seems like some of the reviews complained of failures with the cheap stuff - which is what I'd use at the range. At home, if loaded, it would be with the Hornady. |
