You should be able to clean every last bit of vermin from Connecticut with that arsenal.

Only if it breaks in... After all, I'm not George Zimmerman or a thug
cop shooting teenagers.

Toad, are you looking for praise that you cleaned rifles? Praise that
you have three (if they're yours)? Or just praise in general?

What a joke, Toad.

And he stuck in his thumb, and he pulled out a plumb and said "Damn! What a good boy am I!"

Oooh...I like the SKS and the shotgun. I've fooled around a bit with a
Mossberg pump shotgun...it sure makes that "racking" noise that puts the
fear of death into intruders! :)

And you can probably hit something with yours also!

The Mosin Nagant looks nice and clean. I just bought one for my
son-in-law and am still trying to decide whether to clean it myself or
let him do it. By Christmas I'll have made the decision...maybe.

Harry you have some nice guns. But a question- I could understand at maybe 300 yards, but do you need scopes to hit at up to 300 ft. ?

It depends on what I am trying to hit, eh? I can easily and consistently
hit a 6" in diameter metal "gong" plate at 100 yards with any of the
rifles, unassisted by a visual "aid" beyond standard iron sights. But
mostly I am trying to land my shots within 2" or less of each other on a
small paper target taped to a piece of cardboard. I need to use a scope
for that. I only have one scope, the one you see on the AR15/.22LR
firearm. Typically, on that rifle, the scope is sighted some inches
higher than the actual center of my target, to allow for bullet drop. If
I move the scope over to the other AR, the sight problem is the
opposite. The other two sighting devices are non-magnifying red dot sights.

I didn't realize those were laser sights. On my phone the pic is too small or I'm too blind. Lol!

They are red dots not lasers ... They do not project a laser light beam.

I thought they were scopes also, so don't feel too badly.

BTW, it's raining cats and dogs outside. That weather got here sooner
than I expected.
