I didn't realize that the grouper and Jew fish were the same thing. Up to 500 lbs. wow!

That fish was caught just a few miles from here at the Sanibel Island
causeway. We go under that bridge all the time.

Those guys could use a fighting belt in the worst way. It would help
to keep their voices at a lower pitch.

They are a grouper, so probably taste good. We get Broomtail grouper off
SoCal, but they are 1/2 mouth and head.

I have had Grouper I think in Florida.. is it usually an eatin' fish?

It is a very popular food fish and served in most Florida restaurants
in one form or another - about $22/lb in the supermarket. The yellow
tail snapper that we caught are very tasty also but much smaller.
