Big feesh! Are they natural or an invasive? And more importantly, how do they taste? They are protected but they probably taste like grouper. |

We caught a bunch of Grouper, Yellow Tail Snapper, and some other fish. Here's a 20 pound grouper caught by yours truly: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h9yaihy0fw6euk9/20%20pound%20grouper.jpg?dl=0 Very tasty. What was the name of the charter company? I've used tortugasfishing.com in the past with excellent results on 3-day trips but they book out a year in advance - quickly. How were the seas? === http://www.fishquestcharters.com/ I'd suggest checking out their boats in advance before making a commitment. They are very basic and we were not entirely happy with the one we were on. Prices are reasonable however and somewhat negotiable. Wind was out of the north at about 15 kts so we were getting some roll in what I would describe as a medium chop. We spent most of our time behind the reef, and at night were anchored in the lee of the Marquesas Keys which made sleeping tolerable. https://www.google.com/search?q=marquesas+keys&biw=1151&bih=704&tbm=isch& tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=mt1zVO_aMa3bsAS13IAw&sqi =2&ved=0CCUQsAQ Do they sleep six and have working air conditioning? Other than that, basic is fine for us, we just need someone to put us on fish. We know how to bait a hook and catch them! |

You could probably negotiate a deal without the mate but I thought he was worthwhile. We went out with Captain Paul and the mate's name was Mark. Our boat was the Audrey D. https://www.dropbox.com/s/klkb2h6labjv39c/6%20bunks%20forward.JPG?dl=0 |
