I was even willing to go along for a while until it just got too
ridiculous to believe. You still have not said why you didn't call the

In the old days, we'd get the license plate number. The cops have ways
of tracking folks down with that number.

In the old days, you were passed over too many times for army promotion

I didn't notice the woman's plate number or the guy's car.
