Palin and her tribe however are just another bunch of low class individuals with no real excuse for it. Is Bertbrain saying I think McCain is a genius? Never said or implied that. So, McCain was 895th in his college class? Gosh, what was Bertbrain's academic standing after his four years of college. I remember watching her nomination acceptance speech and thinking, "Whoa .. here is someone different". She gave a very good and obviously well rehearsed speech. But that was it. Every time she opened her mouth after that she made a fool of herself. That killed it for me. I really don't think she has much influence on anyone now-a-days. The Palins only interest the National Enquirer set and Fox News watchers. It makes you wonder how Harry fits into this. Palin is still of interest to and admired by a significant percentage of right-wingers, although there are plenty of other moronic right-wingers competing for the attention she gets. I haven't seen any of them. Some of them are right here in rec.boats, denying their love and admiration for the Palins, and how the Palins have contributed as much to this country as the Kennedys and Bidens. Why did FDR put Joe Kennedy in charge of Wall Street? Because he was the most successful crook? Three of Joe Kennedy's sons died in the service of this country. .. well one anyway. JFK was mostly serving himself and RFK was a disservice to the country. I think Viet Nam would not have been what it got to be if RFK had not been killed. Also would not have had Carter. |

I haven't seen any of them. Never seen Huckabee, Cruz, Santorum et al? I was talking about people who spend any inordinate time watching Palin. That really just seems to be liberal democrats. In reality I have not seen much of Huckabee, Cruz and Santortum (AKA "Frothy") either. The Palins are just more colorful and intelligent. BTW, I've been watching mostly CNN, and they covered Palin's spat repeatedly. Like I said liberal democrats. And they're all over the huge terrorist attack on Canada now. Maybe it's time to protect that border and militarize it. What happened to the ISIS punks and big bad Ebola? Damn, I just know what to be afraid of. CNN is the Crisis News Network but I can't see them now (They had a falling out with Dish) so I was switching back and forth from Fox and MSNBC for a while today It was "We don't know what the hell is going on in Ottawa and we will keep saying so all day" too. The only thing different was different talking heads. So far this is looking like one nut with a gun, who was shot pretty much right away. Everything else just seems to be hysteria taken as fact The more Canada wants to say they are different, the more they seem to be the same. I think what has them scared, is a couple days ago there was a terrorist. New Muslim convert who ran down a couple soldiers. Maybe related? |

It is easy to try to guess what someone might have done but Bobby was to the right of his brother when it came to communists. Who knows what he would have done, if elected. It was Bobby who decided an illegal wire tap on MLK was in the national interest because he thought Martin was a communist.. Bobby was no stranger to illegal wire taps and "sneak and peek" warrantless searches tho. He was ordering them from the JFK DoJ too. He was known to dislike escalating VN. Knew it was a no win situation. Maybe he learned from the Cuban Missile Crises. Never said he was honest, or even would have been a good President. But most likely we would not have been mired in SEA. |
