Just had a visit...

....from a pair of white shirt and tie religious proselytizers who wanted
to if I had "found Jesus."

That Jesus guy, he sure goes missing a lot.

They were persistent and obnoxious. I'm not sure what sect they
represented, as I refused to take any of their literature.

Haven't had religious pests stopping by for a couple of years. The
ladies who stopped by last year to invite me to church weren't obnoxious.

You would have loved my former father in law.

I was there one day when a witness asked him if he tad taken Jesus
into his heart. He told them they were going to take his foot in their
ass if they didn't get off his stoop.

Your kind of guy

Not at all. I tend not to insult the proselytizers who call...I just
dismiss them. But the church ladies I mentioned were nice, so I
responded in kind. I just declined their invite, and with a smile.

What kind of fractured syntax is that? Don't you know that "know"
belongs after "to" and before "if"? Just what kind of phony liberal
arts major are you? Even engineers "know" better than that.
