She found his discharge papers while looking through piles of 'stuff' left by her mother. The best we can tell, most of my ancestors were still in Europe during the Civil War ... except possibly a few Cherokees (still undetermined) My mom's family was in Harry's favorite town, New Haven, in the late 1750's from a cousin doing genealogy. |
