Well, we are supposed to get them safety inspected, which I've not done. Haven't gotten caught yet,
but I suppose my time's coming.

I was going to add that there's many people that do take small craft out on the big rivers, but eventually I'm planning to outfit the 22' boat for a long river cruise of an approx. 200 milo run one way

You plan on camping, or sleeping on the boat?

John I wouldn't mind sleeping on the boat, but I think my wife would just as soon moor up to a place with a motel for some reason...

But at the lake I trailer early in the morning and am home after dark. That's an advantage of having a boat on wheels

Well, I hadn't thought of that, but it sounds like a pretty good idea!

What's with that huge flamingo on stilts down the street from your street?

I have the boat trailer and an aluminum utility trailer.

Can you back up the utility trailer? Serious question. Short trailers
are tougher than longer trailers.

I went to my neighbor a few years back and asked that when he parks his
car to park on the other side of the drive so I can back in and out. No
difference for him really, but it make things a lot easier for me coming
in and out without a car across the street... He only parks there when
he has to and that is rare but happens cause he has three cars and likes
to work on them and wash them a lot, etc...

I find it a lot easier to back my Shoreliner double axle for the 22 than i do the single axle EZ-load for the 18
