Come on down to the track some day and start talking to guys like that, he would just get steamrolled. Guess it's just different from under a desk. I had to talk to a guy today and it certainly took some diplomacy for sure. He is a 40 something retired GP racer, full ride guy, etc... but he was out there screaming at his kid, his kid was 6. It was driving Jess crazy so I went and talked to him for a while and by the time I left he was encouraging his kid during the moto, and correcting after off track, not screaming at the kid like he was dumb or something. One thing a lot of guys don't understand is the kid is going as fast as he can with the form he has, until he gets the weight in the right place, etc, there will be no "twist it, TWIST IT" no matter how loud you yell...:) Either way, sometimes if you really mean it, and you really want to add something, you gotta' eat a little snot and take the quiet victory... At the end of the day the guy was working in a totally different manner, I heard him tell the kid he was smoother in the last moto, the kid looked over at me and grinned.. He got it, and he was only 6.... Jess is coming back slowly on purpose. We are working more in the gym than on the track. It was pretty cool to have a full ride pro racer look at Jess and say "she is cut like an Olympic Athlete"... in fairness though, that's all her... We may race this weekend, not sure yet though. |

Yes, sounded like the reverand was an avid deer hunter, both hunting and dressing the deer while in his habit. Not. Another ****ty excuse offered by the gun fondler crowd. His cohort is dead because of his stupidity in retrieving and pointing a weapon without the balls to use it. Just another example of how guns make everything more dangerous. I offer Don a simple explanation concerning the local hunting seasons for sidearms and you pee down your leg. Interesting at the least and hilarious at the most. |

Johnny, you seem to will yourself to be offended.
All this whining and crying should be beneath a retired mid level officer of the United States Army, don't you think? |
