If I was going that way I would have linked the FBI UCR http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr...e-data-table-3 Those figures must be wrong. They are disproportionate to the racial makeup of the population. |

In which industries does Floriduh provides leadership? Dog racing? People like to come here because we are not choked by heavy industry. We take money from snowbirds and rent them sunshine. It is a booming industry. We do have a pretty big space industry tho and a lot of companies are quietly moving their offices away from those high tax, high crime areas in the north east. Hertz just moved to my little town and there is another big international company sniffing around for office space. Wow, jps has stooped to "my state is better than your state"... LOL! |

So, you're dependent on natural resources and an influx of old people's money to make a living. Sounds like you're bunch of freeloading bums. Floriduh's contribution to society is immesurable, as in none. Well maybe if you don't like satellites and eating produce in the winter. BTW spread the work, don't come here, it sucks. Bugs the size of rats, snakes and alligators everywhere and we might shoot you. Too damned many people here now.. Seriously, who the **** wants those west coast starbucks weenies around anyway... |

No opportunity, ****ty public school systems, living wage jobs gone. If you've got to make a living to eat and the only job readily available is running drugs, how many people are going to choose to starve and how many will choose to engage an educational system that has failed them where they have no standing? We've stopped investing in those areas and they've declined, what's the mystery? Huge welfare cities. Drug test them all and it will improve dramatically. |

You might have heard that the NW and Seattle in particular is growing at a very rapid pace. Yeah, you are getting more of those loony stories every day. No competition for your state. We don't have to deal with the legacy of the ****ed up "south" or the likes of the sheisters running your state government or the rampant ignorance that finds an easy home in Floriduh. Most of the people here came from up north, or south of the border. Far more state to state immigration than you have there. Have a look at Forbes' newest report on best states to make a living. If you take away Boeing and the federal employees that eat the scraps around them, you are Mississippi. Microsoft has some high priced talent but it is being replaced by H1B workers. Weak. In which industries does Floriduh provides leadership? Dog racing? Your state is a prime mover in Microsoft Windows OSes and that was developed somewhere else. Most of the computer innovation in the past 35 years has been centered around Boston, Washington, DC and the San Francisco Bay area. And, the San Francisco bay area was full of manufacturing people, the brains moved in in the mid to late 80's. Ooooops, you mean jps is lying again??? Who'd a thunk... |
