Well, either this or suicide... VANCOUVER, Wash. ? Two people were killed and another was wounded in a shooting at a Vancouver home early Monday morning, police said. Police called it a domestic violence situation. The person who survived was taken to a hospital. Police say they expect that person to survive. The three were found at a home near Northeast 52nd Street at 131st Avenue. Neighbors said they heard fighting in the house, followed by gunshots at around 5:15 a.m. Several neighbors called 911. Police said they are not looking for a suspect and there is no threat to the community. Detectives are preparing a search warrant to enter the home, according to police. They will release further updates after detectives collect evidence inside the house. Some neighbors said they had heard fighting between family members in the home before. A neighbor named James told KATU the father who lives at the home lost his job in the last few weeks. James said he was worried that something bad might happen. The names of the people involved in the shooting have not been released. Maybe life is not good in your state. Lots of crazy people. Maybe the gene pool improved. Maybe they were not nice people to start with. Could have used hammers or pencils or sissors. But, they didn't. They chose the handiest, most efficient tool available. Most of our citizens these days are imports from other states. But I'm sure lunatics make up a similar percentage of population in every state, apart from Florida, which has significantly more than their share. So what's your point? Are liberals to blame for any of this, or is it only those conservative owners of guns? All of these murders in Washington and other lib states suggests otherwise.. |

Much more likely to kill. |

I'm presently from Florida, know hundreds of people, and none of them are lunatics. Come visit some time. I'll take you boating and introduce you around so you can make an informed decision instead of spouting some sort of dogma that you've heard somewhere. Until you actually do that I'd advise a tad more discretion. One of my neighbors is from Seattle and he's quite happy with Florida. |

Everyone in Idaho has a gun and a lot of them are machine guns. Whoa. Those look like drug infested, welfare areas. Maybe a connection? |

No opportunity, ****ty public school systems, living wage jobs gone. If you've got to make a living to eat and the only job readily available is running drugs, how many people are going to choose to starve and how many will choose to engage an educational system that has failed them where they have no standing? We've stopped investing in those areas and they've declined, what's the mystery? |

We've stopped investing in those areas and they've declined, what's the mystery? Bull****! Those schools may not be top tier, but the information is there. Maybe a 50% plus drop out rate is more of a problem than ****ty schools. I have Cambodian friends. They got two years training when they got off the boat paid for by the government. Then they were expected to get a job. Tina got CNA training and worked in a hospital for a couple years. Opened a restaurant and owns and runs a donut shop now. Sunny her husband, who fishes with me sometimes, was trained as a machinist. Two years. We have 5th generation welfare families. Maybe we give them two years training and then require work? Maybe welfare pays too well. We have welfare families with 60" TV, cable and wearing $150 sneakers. And fat. Only country in the world where the poor are obese. We do not invest in those areas as the locals destroy or steal too much. Why is your business not in the inner city? Why do you live in a gated community, and not in the innercity? |
