Default Underway North Bound to the Carolinas, Chesapeake, NY, Connecticut and Beyond

We are finally headed north for the summer after a number of delays.
The dock lines were cast off at 0630 this morning and are currently
docked at Roland Martin's Marina in Clewiston, FL. By tomorrow
afternoon we should be on the east coast of Florida and headed north
On the ICW (Intra Coastal Waterway). We'd hoped that conditions would
be favorable for running outside on a straight line to Charleston,
South Carolina but it looks like we'll have to wait for the wind to
lighten up a bit - maybe later in the week on Tuesday or Wednesday.

We'll be renting space there too. Can't tell you when but it's something
we're looking forward to.
Have a safe and enjoyable voyage up North.

Have a great trip, we are getting ready for Montana.
That is a whole nother thing. :-)

Both of you have good trips. In Yellowstone, take the early morning game
viewing trip in the restored cars.

I doubt we will ever venture into the tourist areas of Yellowstone.
The last time we were there we drove into one of the back entrances
and hiked from there. We will be near one in the house where we are
staying.

And any big ticket items you need to buy? Montana sales tax rate is zero
percent.

If you'll be in Solomon's, let me know. We're going to be down there for a good part of July.

We are seriously considering taking the trailer on a trip to Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Tetons, and
that neck of the woods next year. Pass along any tips you come up with, please.

I'll let you know. We'll be passing through the Chesapeake in an
other week or two. Do you have any favorite restaurants there?

The locals talk about Jerry's Seafood http://www.jerrys-place.com/ but it's about twenty miles north
of Solomons. We don't go out to eat much when we're down there. We've eaten at the Ruddy Duck
http://www.ruddyduckbrewery.com/ which is much closer and pretty good. We've also eaten at the
Stoney's in Solomon's, but were not happy with the food or the prices.

We won't be getting back down there until June 30, for the July 4th weekend, but I might could be
enticed to take a motorcycle ride down there to see a pretty boat!

Have you ever tried the C D Cafe? It's right on the main street.
We've had a couple of decent meals there in the past.
