Default Things you just can't do without!

I am kind of the romantic of the bunch,Not that I want to bring flowers to
my girlfriend (to get points to get laid) but the guy who stood on the bow
,watching the sun set and cryed because I could not set sail, to go to the
Bahamas. This year,After 18 yrs.-Sailing has not changed form the last time
you felt the spray in your face , and the sheets were under a strain like
steel cables pulled tight .No there is nothing more that you need . Than You
already have.
Everything YOU need is the hunger in your spirit to be under sail again
,to feel the wind in your face, and your boat calling you to be one with
the sea again, You got it because after 18 years your back again to feel her
touch! Because she has touched you.

I owned a J-24 for 18 years. Naturally, except for when I stripped it for

racing, all the
"homey touch" stuff was on board when I wanted it (cup holder, hammock,

etc.).

I've been away from sailing for the last ten years and am about to rent a

"bareboat" for
the San Juans. Please remind me what I "have to" bring along on the trip!
