Benefiting will be our great Gov. Rick, local businesses and their non union employees, far away businesses along with their employees and suppliers. I sincerely hope all goes well. I will also be picking up a large package today. Hope it weathered the winter well. (That's called 'alliteration' or 'onomatopeia' or some damn thing.) Perhaps you two can arrange a high speed, head-on collision. Leave your wives at the diner. Your sub 7th grade attempt as sarcastic humor is underwhelming. Life's a bitch... for an ignored narcissist. (Now *that's* poetry!) Got the package. In the driveway. Didn't break anything. Miracles *do* happen. And, even with all the snow, rain, sleet, and hail this past winter, including the floods of yesterday and today, the damn thing is dry as a bone inside. Yippee! Wow...you got your portable motel room from its storage lot to your driveway. That's some accomplishment. Now you can take it on the great adventure to Virginia Beach, about 200 miles from your house, and save the $125 you might have spent on a decent, off-season, motel room so you can spend it on diesel. It's obvious you are here only to troll and agitate because no sane, 70 year old would make the comments you make. John is retired and enjoying it. He enjoys the whole experience of hauling his rig, setting up camp and relaxing. Wayne enjoys the adventure of cruising to places by boat and all that goes with that lifestyle. Can't say as I blame either of them and hope to be back in the boating and cruising lifestyle soon. The fact that you are still tied to sleeping in bed bug ridden motel rooms and driving rented cars isn't much to brag about. Anyone can do that. You reckon he can cook in those motel rooms? |

We usually stay at the Ocean Beach Club at Virginia Beach. http://tinyurl.com/n6o9zvj The rooms have a microwave, but we don't cook in the room. There's a gazillion restaurants in the Virginia Beach area. No bedbugs, no herrings, no travel trailers, and the beaches in front of the hotel are relatively uncrowded. I suppose you and your wife will be "packing" on your weekend, right? |

Harry. I bet the rooms you rent are a bargain compared to the slip rent you pay for your twin- diesel tug.

I'm talking about the bigger picture. On my Cavilere we 'camped' in it at the lake instead of getting a motel cube. If you own it you may as we'll use or to your fullest advantage.

It's a matter of time, convenience, weather, activities, et cetera. Boating down to Virginia Beach or beyond is fun, but once you get there, you've got to take really long walks or rent a car to do much beyond hanging out at the marina. There's usually too much auto traffic around Rudee Inlet to ride bikes anywhere but on the concrete boardwalk a couple of miles away from the marinas we've used. Now, at many anchorages in the Bay here, you're either on the water side of the center of town or a short jaunt away from it by foot. |

When you are set up right, "camping" (what I do) or "glamping" (what John does:) is better than a motel room any day. Now that we found that Jess can sleep with ear plugs and we have a tent heater, even our "rough style" camping is much better than some smelly dark motel room... |

We would kill to have a camper.. motels are creepy, even nicer ones.. |
