That is what "home" and "Premium" etc, that's what John is asking. He wants to know which version of Windows 7 to get. He can get a few versions including Home, Premium, Basic, Enterprise, and a few others. Most have you machine *probably* has "Home" or "Premium" *I would guess* but I could be wrong... |

Using your mouse right click on that icon and then left click on the "properties" menu item that drops down. It will tell you what version of 7 you have. |

He's sending me a Windows 7 Professional, which he had on a server he no longer uses. So, I'll have to make do with that instead of Windows Home Premium. Oh well! |
