With a quick look and I say *a quick look* and *it's my opinion*, that
the "Premium" version really takes care of everything I need and I think
I do more than you on the machine. Unless you need "XP Mode" available
in "Professional" it's "MY OPINION" and only my opinion based on *what I
believe to be your computer use based on the information I have
available here from you over the years* that Premium would serve your
needs, and the "Enterprise" version is beyond "what I presume to be your
needs"....

More than likely "Home" or "Premium". If you can't tell the difference,
it probably doesn't matter to you anyway:)

That is what "home" and "Premium" etc, that's what John is asking. He
wants to know which version of Windows 7 to get. He can get a few
versions including Home, Premium, Basic, Enterprise, and a few others.
Most have you machine *probably* has "Home" or "Premium" *I would guess*
but I could be wrong...

Tim. Somewhere on your desktop (usually the opening page when you start
up) there will be an icon labeled "computer" or "my computer". Using
your mouse right click on that icon and then left click on the
"properties" menu item that drops down. It will tell you what version of
7 you have.

I suggest you get a Chromebook. You won't have to contend with Windoze
and it probably does anything you need to do, computer-wise.

Well, it pays to have a brother who lives next door to a Microsoft guy. He's sending me a Windows 7 Professional, which he had on a server he no longer uses. So, I'll have to make do with that instead of Windows Home Premium. Oh well!
