I got a much dreaded email yesterday from my brother in NC. He's been a heavy smoker since high school and was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago. He didn't say what stage it was, only that he's doing chemo twice a week and radiation every day. He knows he won't be able to go on the Arkansas motorcycle trip 'cause he's already feeling pretty weak. The lung cancer was spotted while he was recuperating from a bladder removal. That sucks. Wishing the best for him. |
