I have one of these it takes a beating and comes back flying.

Wow, even with the camera that's not a bad price at all.

http://www.amazon.com/UDI-2-4GHz-RC-...cm_wl_huc_item

That is just what I'm looking for. But I'll get the U817A. Don't need the camera.

http://www.amazon.com/UDI-U817A-2-4G.../dp/B00D3I2NFQ

Looks like it could hit a few walls and stay alive.

Thanks for the comeback.

I'd like one that can float so I can fly it around the boats and not
worry about it sinking.

John, quit screwing around with tinker toys C'mon man. Think big!

Hell, I couldn't afford one of the batteries for that damn thing!

It does show how far the battery and motor technology has come.

Here ya go:

Or tie a couple empty plastic water bottles to the bottoms:

That last one seems to do better than the first. The last half of the video gives the copter
perspective.

Before you invest in a big one, invest in a litte one. That's my advice!

I'm going to get this one for the grandkids to play with at Solomons Island this year.

It looks like it's got enough protection to save the props a little. One of the sales people in the
LHS (that's 'Local Hobby Shop' for you rank amateurs) was flying one of these. Fast, maneuverable,
very cool. And the price isn't bad, especially as a camera is included. The reviews aren't bad
either!

Wonder if they have floats for the copter. Would be pretty cool when out
salmon fishing, to get air views of the fleet and the catching. Need
floats if you ran out of battery before returning.
