I d like to have one of these WW2 "Radio Planes" http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/mqm-33.jpg Tim, I'm giving some serious thought to getting one of these 'kit' planes and trying to build one myself. Motors and all the electronics have to be added, but I think much of it can be found used. I met a guy today who had a whole car full of airplane stuff. He's into jets. Very cool. He was flying one of these. Fast. Very maneuverable. Electric motor powered. The RC stuff out there today is unreal. Here is a model of a BUFF Link? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbITzCI2AU0 Very nice. I was impressed with his landing, and the applause indicates the spectators were also. That's the hardest part of the RC flying. The C-17 was cool also, and the guy did a good job landing it. The electric ducted fan motors they have now are unreal. So powerful. |
