Scott. As you well know I'm a real simpleton when it comes to computers. I make no claim to be bright about it's use. I can cruise websites and type stuff on Microsoft Word and that's about it.

I have bypassed the hackery and have read the welcomed and constructive critique. At the present, I know I'd get lost in there in the way your website stands, and knowing you'll improve it in the really near future... I'll refrain from checking it out at the moment and look at it in a couple of days if that's ok with you....

Well, of course, use of proper spelling, grammar, and consistent style
have no place on a real man's webpage.

I know a couple links are still dead. I spent the last two weeks
building the "Portfolio Page" and putting in the controls.. The
"Equipment" page took a while too but it has a display script, inside of
another display script. The Flash presentation on the front page is
"stock" but I did add my own objects and actions to in for another
website I am working with, doing that in Macromedia Flash... Most of the
adjustments to the site are border and background colors and making
things line up with the Cascading Style Sheets that are the basic layout
and feel of the site etc... Anyway, the customer really likes the color
scheme but I still have to do a new logo... And ironically, like I said
before the customer speaks English as a second language and hired me to
"communicate" to the customers for them:)

I can appreciate the amount of work you have done on this. It's obvious
when you visit the website. The only comment I have ... and it's meant
to be constructive criticism ... it's *way* too busy. I got lost
after following a link or two. Maybe your customer likes it but as a
first time visitor to the website I wouldn't stay long. Too confusing
to navigate.

Maybe a more simple home page with a link listing of services that are
better organized by purpose. Appropriate videos could be viewed from
within the links rather than displaying them all on the home page. I
sorta lost the idea of what the company does.

I agree completely. I want to know what you can do for me, what problems that I may have that
you can solve. I want to know how you operate? Do I have to call you, write you a letter,
request something on your website. Too often people get too "fancy" with the information they
present and it becomes too confusing for the person seeking the information. Recently, I told
a company that I don't care about your solutionizing, I don't care about how you are solving
the industry's problems. I want to know what you do and why I should consider you.

Hire someone who knows English as a first language, have that person

work on the spelling, grammar, and stylistic errors and inconsistencies,

and then get back to us.

Well hello, you old, fat, pompous windbag. How 'bout you checking with the ethics folks, and getting back to us. Don't Yale graduates have better manners? And I wonder how many Yale grads have taken bankruptcy twice? Anyway, how's the Dr-Dr-Dr?

Your friend always,
George

I took a quick look! Way too many exclamation points! Every
sentence doesn't need one!

See what I mean? :-)

Thanks, I will check it out.. Most of the work was on the back end and
I mostly put the words in to make everything even and fitting
correctly... Any other input is appreciated... thx...

Nice website!

Um, no... I used HTML5 with CSS. Nothing beyond that in mainstream use at this time. So, like I said. You can spell, big ****ing deal. I am out here making a paycheck, you are sitting around bitching cause you don't have enough stuff...

What? Gee, I've not had problems lining up copy and art and photos.

Gosh. I must be doing something wrong.

LOL, I guess.. More Zimmerman like Lobsta' boats?? Macromedia Flash 8,
Dreamweaver CS6, HTML 5 with CSS that you are calling "old, clunky,
outdated software" :).. HTML 5 isn't even being used universally yet,
much less clunky idiot:)

.... you all got points.. I was looking to more or less sell the sizzle,
(Ziglar?) the whole "no damage to the lawn" thing. Remember, folks that
come to us are pretty much already sold on tree service, just gotta'
decide who is gonna' do it... But I am mulling over these issues.. The
hard part is the customer wants "pictures and video". Quite frankly I
think the site was mostly written for his buddies in Brazil to show them
his trucks:) But yeah, I do see your points...

Perhaps you should "invest" in a bootlegged spell checker, grammar
checker, and context checker, or hire someone with a working familiarity
of the English language.
