During the initial build, every word and space had to have a spot so the paragraphs and such would line up on the page correctly and such.. I went in this morning and did a quick sweep to remove the extra exclamation points and do some spell checking but admittedly, I have not even run a spell checker on the site yet being so involved in setting up the pages... So simply spelling and grammar, is not so simple.. It has to fit too or different parts of the page wiill have huge empty places, or be out of line... Thanks again all for the input... Reads like you are using old, clunky, outdated software. Um, no... I used HTML5 with CSS. Nothing beyond that in mainstream use at this time. So, like I said. You can spell, big ****ing deal. It's obvious when you visit the website. The only comment I have ... and it's meant to be constructive criticism ... it's *way* too busy. I got lost after following a link or two. Maybe your customer likes it but as a first time visitor to the website I wouldn't stay long. Too confusing to navigate. Maybe a more simple home page with a link listing of services that are better organized by purpose. Appropriate videos could be viewed from within the links rather than displaying them all on the home page. I sorta lost the idea of what the company does. Yeah, at first the services page was the "homepage" but we decided that everyone knows we take down trees, so we stress what makes us better than the rest. The no damage to lawn and property is the biggest thing we want to push on the front page, the other is the trucks and equipment. This is Luis hobby and he even want more of them there but absolutely does not want to lose the flash intro either.... He used to have a simple page, but he said "I have the best equipment in the most of the country, and a plain old website" then he showed me three other sites of his biggest competitors and said "I want mine to look better than theirs".... so we went for it. I can change it on a dime though, that's one thing I did when I built it. Hundreds of "containers" I built so I can change it on the fly.. Thanks for your input, any news on that sellers contract. I would like to submit it to the bank as an example of where I am going... thanks... |

I make no claim to be bright about it's use. I can cruise websites and type stuff on Microsoft Word and that's about it. I have bypassed the hackery and have read the welcomed and constructive critique. At the present, I know I'd get lost in there in the way your website stands, and knowing you'll improve it in the really near future... I'll refrain from checking it out at the moment and look at it in a couple of days if that's ok with you.... |
